The brush is of good quality, it has good weight and good material, it is not a light plastic like others. The little button to clean the hair is made of light plastic but it can be taken care of. Worked really well for my beagle, pulled the hair out of both layers (the thickest outside and the softest, fluffiest inside. I bought the medium size and it works very well for me.
